There are many ways the body of Christ can work together to further the Name of Christ. Some are able to minister directly with the people coming to our Mission Center, while others will touch lives through prayer and helping financially.

MISSION TRIP OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND:
CONSTRUCTION:
At present, a 5,000 sq. ft mission center is being built to house the sewing academy, children's school, feeding kitchen, medical and dental clinics and pastor's conference room and upstairs apartment. Without the help of visiting teams from the states, this project would be impossible, Since 2005, teams for various churches have assisted in construction. Each visiting team donates the supplies that they use in their specific construction project. When finished, this mission center will be the joint efforts of many who have sacrificed to help bring this about. In addition to this center, there will be dormitories that will house short term mission teams. It has been the goal of this ministry to expose North Americans to the overwhelming needs of third world people. Only in this way can one see how little on their part brings about such a big help to those who are impoverished. The main goal is bringing the Gospel to the needy hand in hand with teaching them marketable skills.

WOMEN'S MINISTRYWomen in Honduras are the backbones of these villages. They are often left to support the family. They usually have had little opportunity for Bible teaching. Women's meeting have been held in villages with music , a Bible lesson that targets women and a craft. They love to make things and the craft is then a gift for them.

CHILDREN'S BIBLE SCHOOL
Teams have been successful by going into the public schools and presenting the Gospel through music, puppets, and skits and then inviting those school children to a Bible school in their village. Many children have been reached this way. Sometimes their parents are invited to the last class and not only do they see what their child can do, but they too are offered an opportunity to come to the Lord.

MEDICAL TEAMSMedical teams have met the physical and dental needs of the people. Through their ministry, we have been able to meet the physical needs of the people while others spread the Gospel message as the people wait to meet the physicians. The doctors have also been able to share their faith with the patients and just their medical service speaks volumes to the people of the love of Christ.

ATTENDING CHURCHESGathering Hearts is involved with church planting. We conduct Vacation Bible Schools and preaching. There are many opportunities to lead Bible studies and various other creative outreach programs.
